Q: How can the Secretary, Administrator or Counselor access the discipline and attendance report?
Middle College needs a copy of the actual discipline and attendance report. The Administrator, Secretary or Counselor can access these reports by following the instructions below:
- In Power School, click "Attendance Info" then print or save to pdf (the first page is sufficient)
- In Power School, on the left side under "Administration" click "log entries" and "incidents"; both reports should be printed or save to pdf. Please note: if the student does not have any behavioral issues, the sheet will be blank.

Early admission deadline: February 18, 2026 (guaranteed interview)
Follow the link below to fill out the Shelby County Schools General Choice Transfer Application & perform these steps:
- Click Apply for General Choice
- Select "My child is NOT zoned for or on an approved transfer to the school I am requesting"
- Complete the Application
- Choose Middle College High School as your choice school
- Upload required documents within the General Choice Application

All required documents listed above must be uploaded within the application at the time of completing the application; otherwise, the student will be ineligible for an interview. Students and parents should not complete the application until they have collected all required documents. Students and parents will not be able to return to the application to upload additional documents after the application is submitted.
After your application has been processed and reviewed, you will be invited to participate in an interview. Please check your email regularly!
Prior to our final admission decision, parents and students must attend a mandatory in-person session.
